Thinking about gore

I know what you're thinking - it's a bit early for Halloween but it is related. I'm thinking about a photograph competition. Specifically "The Bram Stoker Dracula Halloween Horror Festival" is looking for photos of Gothic Horror. It's a far cry from my usual nature shots but I think I'll give it a try. So now conjuring images of skulls and graveyards and blood - Just in time for bedtime :(

Anyway, if anyone has any ideas of how I can do Gothic gore on a very low (non existent budget) -would they get back to me!
